About Me
As a Biker, i consider myself to be the one who loves touring on motorcycles. This is not my hobby but a passion or why else would i head out to some destination hundreds of KMs away just at the blink of an eye? To me, touring on a Motorcycle is more of like a committed relationship, where you have to take care of your partner, fulfill all its needs and in return your partner takes care of you. You mess around with your bike and it'll surely pay it back at the wrong time. Having said that, i try to recall the time since i fell in love with the two wheeled vehicles and i realize it has been there since the start. Right when i learned to ride a bicycle and used to negotiate with my cousins to get some extra time with it. To me, riding a motorcycle at a speed of 100+ does not give that amount of push as riding it at a sweet speed of ~30KMpH gives. Its like walking on a beach with your beloved, holding her hands and listening to the sweet voice while doing so.

Do I think I have contributed to the motorcycling community, however a
small way it may be?
As a Biker, i have tried to spread the word called 'Safe Riding'. Asked fellow riders to wear safety gear while on trips and daily commute too. Always tried to spread the word 'Responsible Rider'. Also, as a tourer, i discuss the measures and precautions one should take while riding on the hills, do's and don'ts of the tour apart from sharing the basic itinerary with them.

How can I contribute more in the future to the motorcycling community?
The major concern in the Motorcycling world today is safe and sensible riding. At a scale which only future will decide, i will try to spread the awareness about the same among the veteran and the budding motorcycle enthusiasts alike coz what i feel is that no matter how many KMs one has churned on the road, one mistake can prove fatal.

Best Ride
Though i have covered most of H.P and Ladakh on my Bike , still my best ride till date is my first tour to Sarahan. It was the ride where i learnt the basics and that makes it close to my heart. Also because it was the first time when i saw the virgin beatu of Himachal and fell in love with it.

Tips to budding tourers
When you set out on a tour, dont consider it as a mission to reach from Point A to Point B in the minimum possible time. Rather, enjoy everything you come across in between these two points. A tourer is an explorer who tries to find out the best and share it with the world. Its not about the destination but the route you take that makes the tour worth it.
