About Me
I have been riding motorcycles since 1998, done more than 2Lac kms on 2-wheels. I have grown up with my bike(s), and believe in treating my bikes as I would want to treat myself. As per me I have learnt a lot from my biking, the basic of biking is like basic of life. For say you just dont start running when you are born, same as you dont start speeding wwhen you get yourself a new bike. I am a responsible biker, who believes in safe riding, and in riding till I live. Thats why I say - "I dont ride my bikes, I live with them". For me you lead your life as you ride your bike.

Do I think I have contributed to the motorcycling community, however a
small way it may be?
Yes I have contributed, though in small way. As in our nation, Biking is more of a necessity than a luxury, still wherever I could have contributed I did. Let it from encouraging people to ride again to gain there confidence back after a fall, or to ride safely with proper gears, or even a smaller thing like how to tie luggage with bungee chords on your bike and to educate as much as I can.

How can I contribute more in the future to the motorcycling community?
I love to distribute my knowledge. I would like to do the following to contribute to the motorcycle community: 1. Educate all the riders to wear helmets with the strap ON and also would like to introduce helmets for pillions (irrespective of the sex) as compulsory. 2. Few family people, who believe in carrying more than 1 pillion, would like to educate them with the risk they are taking with there family. 3. Would love to put up a question hour session, for all the bikers to pour in there questions about bikes, bikers, and riding. 4. Organize city rides and tours for the newbies, to get them learn more about themselves and there bikes. 5. A technical seminar, relating everything to biking. 6. Making a responsible rider.

My Touring Experience
Total Kms. Clocked
more than 2 lacs
Best Ride
Delhi-Tarkeshwar-Delhi ~ 612kms, a single day dash on my 87model RX100 on 1st Jan, 2010. Faced immense cold, maddening fog, and some tiring traffic jam. But had fun, endured offroad to get away from jam, only on my instinct and horns from the vehicle on road. It was one crazy ride. I just love it>
One dream ride that I want to do
Delhi - Mizoram - Delhi
Places I have ridden
Himachal, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh
Best touring Bike according to me
Though I find my R15 and RX100 very comfortable, but apart from it, Karizma is the Best
Tips to budding tourers
Touring requires patience and a good mental alertness. Highway riding is completely different, dont mix it up with zip zapping your way through the traffic. Always be well prepared, well equipped to know where you are going. when touring, avoid road rage and be calm. Do not over stress yourself and get fatigued, take proper rest before the ride and break while touring. Always ride safe and ride long.
