About Me
I got my first taste of motorcycling at a very early stage during the times when Motogp was still 500cc class. I was able to own a motorcycling during my first job and this where I really unleashed what lay beneath me. Working in the foothills of Uttarakhand, my job was in Rishikesh, helped in every way to nourish my passion. I have moved places, left jobs, left country and then came back...but the passion for motorcycling has never wavered...only the stead has changed from the growls of a 150 to the thump of a 350. But its still only 2 wheels that move my soul.
And here is what I have to say to you...

Do I think I have contributed to the motorcycling community, however a
small way it may be?
During the winters of early 2007, I took my motorcycle out for a leisure ride during a break from office. All I remember from that ride was that my father had to come the next day to take me back to home for proper medical care. 5 fractured bones and 1.5 months of rest later I still don't remember what had happened that day. But the first thing I did after getting back on my feet, apart from hitting a 108 kmph on the 10th after leaving bed, was to write an article on road safety and what minor slip ups may cost you (that was the first and last day I rode a motorcycle without a helmet). My article was published in leading bike magazine as a letter titled "First Hand Advice". I don't know how many people read it or even glanced it, but even if one did and changed his riding habits thereafter, I consider my job done.

How can I contribute more in the future to the motorcycling community?
There can nothing more exhilarating than a long trip on your beloved stead...it is Nirvana. But there is something definitely more important than the trip itself and it is being able to make more such trips. And this can be achieved only by exercising the utmost road safety. I always do my bit by sharing my experiences with friends, colleagues and acquaintances about road safety or the lack of it. I plan to keep promoting safe tripping to my bit towards the motorcycling community.

My Touring Experience
Best Ride
Rishikesh to Mussorie and Dhanaulti. The mountains will sap and energize, both at the same time. And if you are blessed, as I was, it might rain to add that bit of extra spice. But at the end of the day, the pain in your back, legs and arms is nothing compared to the sheer joy in your heart and soul
One dream ride that I want to do
Ladakh and Jebel Hafeet
Places I have ridden
Rishikesh to Dehradun, Rishikesh to Mussorie, Rishikesh to Delhi, Delhi to Moradabad, Rishikesh to Moradabad, Rishikesh to Muzaffarnagar
Best touring Bike according to me
Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark
Tips to budding tourers
Lose the phone and the watch.
