Name : Harish Bikerharis

About Me
I am Harish from Kollam, Kerala. Biking is my passion. Bikes always brings a smile on my face. I've been riding bikes for the past 10 years. When I'm on a bike, I feel like heaven. I dont have words to describe the feeling when I'm riding a bike. I love the the freedom they offers, I love the sweet music they makes, I forget everything when I'm engaged with a bike. Thats an awesome feeling and I'm still not able to figure out why I have so much passion towards bikes. I was just another guy when I started riding bikes when I was a kid and ofcourse the Xbhp made me a better rider. Now I always ride with a helmet on, never broken a signal, always tried to be on the safer side. I know the basic working of bikes and its parts, I am familiar with basic DIY stuffs about a bike. Sadly I dont have outstanding photography and verbal skills, But what makes me special is my passion towards bikes. Ride safe, wear a helmet.
Do I think I have contributed to the motorcycling community, however a
small way it may be?
My contributions to the motorcycling community is very small. But, I am very happy to say that, I have educated many of my friends to wear helmet and I've educated them to ride safe, to respect other road users and most importantly I've educated many of my friends to stop street racing. I've helped many people to select bikes, helmets, riding gears, tyres and accessories for their rides.
How can I contribute more in the future to the motorcycling community?
I'm looking forward to participate in events organized by local xbhp members ( I missed many events due to some personal reasons). Educate people about helmet and safety gears. I think the best way to educate people is by social networking, because a large amount of young motorcycle users are very active in facebook like websites. I'm already educating people as good as I can. I'm looking forward to write a blog about bikes. I wasn't that much active on Xbhp after the hack attempt. But, now I think I really need to be more active in xbhp so that I can contribute a lot to the Motorcycling community. My two dream rides are, 1. To the Khardung-La, 2. A Brazillian road trip. Hope I can do those trips in the future.
My Touring Experience

Haven't done any serious touring still now. Best ride so far was to Kochi (300Km)to watch Chris Pfeiffer's show. That day I met almost all my biker friends, met CP, got his autograph on my lid, met fellow Xbhp members and Sunil Guptha sir. Billion thanks to Xbhp that, I've got a chance to meet CP.

Tips to budding tourers
Being a budding tourer my self I would say, carry your papers, Helmets and riding gears with you. Always check your bike's typre pressure, tyre thread level, lights, breaks etc. Don't push so hard. Ride at a relaxed speed. Always obey the traffic rules.
My Stunting Experience
About my stunting career
I've practiced very less. I do basic wheelies, christs, Scrambling the bike, least radius etc. I'm just a beginner. But, trust me. I've never tried a wheelie without a helmet. I always tried stunts at very remote places where absolutely no traffic.
Stunt Shows/competitions I Have Done
I haven't performed for any stunt shows. But, I have organized a stunt show for a college.
Best Stunt Bike According To Me
Best Indian stunt bike is, Bajaj Pulsar.
Tips To Budding Racers
Never try stunts on public roads and never try stunts without proper safety gear. Practice, practice. Practice makes it perfect. Always be prepared to accept the inevitable. Because, sometimes the crashes may be fatal.
My Other Experience
