About Me
Well I own two bikes the LML Energy and Bajaj Pulsar 220 Dts-i, n third one is arriving in a few months...the Ninja 650r...I m a automobile engineer, madly passionate abt bike rides...n has done quite a lot of them over the favourite ride till date is from Jaipur to my home town Bhilwara, Rajasthan..last diwali..I did that 280 km journey in 2hr 42 min...tht was some fun...also me n my friends rode to delhi auto the chilling winters of January last year...under dense was awesome...
Do I think I have contributed to the motorcycling community, however a
small way it may be?
Yes, I have....through my rides ...i have presented many a my group the idea..n the fun..of riding...on logical front how we can save more money riding bike if we are alone to go to places like offivces...also on the safety front i hv been able to convert many people into wearing helmets...n those who hd not so good helmets...through my constant talks they have gone into proper full faces helmets fro good companies...
How can I contribute more in the future to the motorcycling community?
I am currently in the last leg of designing my own bike...which i want to produce in limited coming years....n it will be for the ones who like me desire machines designed for the passion that is motorcycle design...
My Touring Experience
Total Kms. Clocked
More than 50,000 km in last 8 years
Best Ride
Jaipur to Bhilwara(Rajasthan)...a 280km ride...last diwali...I completed this distance in 2 hrs 42 min on my Pulsar 220 was fast..n fun...the best part was when a white chevy cruze n I were going at 140 kmph+ parallel to each other...n the front passenger who was a teen...was startled..
One dream ride that I want to do
Riding a Ducati 1198sp through Grand Canyon...n riding the same bike on the Phillip Island race circuit..australia..
Places I have ridden
Bhilwara to udaipur(uncountable times), jaipur to bhilwara, jaipur to udaipur, jaipur to jodhpur, jaipur to delhi, jaipur to rudraur(70 km from nainital)
Best touring Bike according to me
In indian context..220 dts-i for biginers..and the ninja 650r for the more experienced...
Tips to budding tourers
The mostimportant...have proper safety, as it has been my experience...don overtake from the wrong side untill unless it becomes unavoidable, for touring long distances...choose bikes with..decnt brakes.n comfortable riding far as i know the PUlsar 220 dts-i, is the best among these...though the pillion seat is a bit to hard for long rides...karizma could have been but the ZMR is jst no good for the price it asks for...n thr R...lacks in brakes...n out n out firepower...
