About Me
I am software professional. I am crazy about bikes since school days. Wasn't able to realise my dream till this May. It was a big day, day to celebrate. I graduated from 2-stroke to 4-stroke and that too biggest in its family. The Pulsar 220. The big brother of all. I am mostly a city rider also love to steal a moment and sieze the day with occasional tours with friends and colleagues.Loving my bike each day, its becoming a part of me. If its dirty I feel I am dirty, if its not running smooth I feel my heart is malfunctioning, if its speedng I feel like I am flying the dragon. Yes its the Red Mean Dragon and I am the master of this beast >:) . I hope I will maintain this relationship with my bike a honest and dignified one ;) ... Adios Amigo :)
Do I think I have contributed to the motorcycling community, however a
small way it may be?
Here In my city ( Vadodara ) I haven't seen much people stressing on safety. Less people wear even good helmets, nor the traffic police is taking this up seriously even after mandated by SC. After buying the bike my next target was getting a good helmet and riding gears starting from helmet. Got a good one and a pair of gloves. Planning to complete the full set in coming few months and saving for that. People near me started asking and appreciating the gears. My room mate started commuting to office with helmet again. I do wear helmet even though my office is 5 mins away on bike. Some people even enquired where did I got them. I obliged them by giving the address and am sure atleast a few serious highway bikers are going to buy some protective gears. I am happy yo bring change though a small one.
How can I contribute more in the future to the motorcycling community?
I have been riding since quite long but to biking I am new. Know how of own bike is important and promoting safety and good riding practices even more than that. In my city the traffic sense in people is too bad, I want to get it to good order and promote safety in India as whole.

Tips to budding tourers
Make a proper plan for any place be it long tour or short tour. You cannot just wake up and leave for a tour one fine day. Lay down ground rules if there are more than one vehicle, discuss beforehand and follow it properly for whole tour. Take essential supply try to keep the luggage light. Last but not the least wear proper riding gears. Tour will be only memorable only if you are in single piece ;) .. Happy and safe riding.
