About Me
My interest towards bikes didn't start all of a sudden out of the blue moon, but was ignited at the age of 10, when I started riding my first moped?? Sorry, never dreamt of a moped but it was on my dad's Yamaha RX 100 without any license. Not being offensive against the Indian laws but purely out of my passion. I must admit that the bike felt just awesome, oh! My god, the feel of the bike, the smell of smoke coming out of the exhaust and not to forget the engine beat and the roar which RX100 had was pleasing to hear whenever I rev the bike it was just not enough to satisfy my thirst. I still remember doing my own periodic maintenance to the bike, in terms of chain lubing, spark plug cleaning, engine oil change, clutch cable replacement etc... Was done in a jiffy by myself and seeing all that and riding insanely in the city traffic I was put into trouble by my own relatives and I had to part the bike with tears when my dad just sold the bike one fine morning without my knowledge. Things changed in due course of time and got my first splendor when I was 19 and to tell the riding experience it was kind of okay as it had more head turning features at that time, although I was much obsessed with the Yamaha I still cant let my splendor down as it was faithful to me for quite some time till I lost her in Pondicherry. This bought my biking to a new turn when pulsar 200 & 220 was launched and the whole of India's bikers were behind them praising each and every aspect... Was tough deciding between the two and convincing my parents were even tougher. Finally went with the bold & the beautiful 200 which was and is still one of the best looking bikes till date and never regretted for that.As time passed by, the two stroke bug bit me again making me sell my 200 & go for my all time favourite Yamaha RX 135 5 Speed which is under restoration now. Btw. I'm a father of a kid aged 2 ;-)
