In today's machine-centric world, largely driven by the corporate world, there are prizes and awards being held every now and then to reward the best 'machine' of the year. There are just too many of these awards and some perhaps largely influenced by the corporates who aspire to win these awards to influence its potential buyers. While we understand the necessity of such awards, we failed to see one single entity that is rewarding the real men behind these machines, the men who actually use these bikes to their true potential to let everyone know whether it is really worth it.

'Biker of the Year' is one such movement to put men before the machines, to acknowledge and reward the contribution of the biker towards the betterment of the biking society in India, rather than the motorcycle. We aim to identity the motorcyclists within country belonging to different sections of biking, be it touring, racing, or stunting, and bring them together on a platform from where their work and contribution to the field of motorcycling is visible to the rest of the world.

This is going to be a movement influenced and driven by no one except the bikers. The winner will be decided by the public votes and not by any corporate/individual.

The winner will not only ride away with prizes worth lakhs of rupees, but also the priceless title of India's first "Biker of The Year."

We are glad and thank our main sponsor, Ceat Bike Tyres, and our co-sponsors Pulsar and Wrangler, for supporting us in this endeavor.
